These two dice types are used for gameplay. The grey D8's are the "attack" dice with symbols on each face representing a Critical, Strike, Attack Expertise, or a Failure. The blue D6's are "defense" dice with symbols representing a Block, Defense Expertise, or a Failure. 
 
These heavy duty, comfortable lanyards each feature a swiveling die with j-hook clip attached, with the option between the  grey D8 or blue D6 .
